Job Description
Looking for experienced Electrical Engineer to lead System Studies Group and interface with Analytical Services Department. The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing computer-based models and performing power system simulations including load flow and transient and dynamic stability on electrical power systems (transmission and distribution).
REQUIREMENTS:
BSEE (MSEE preferred) w/5 - 10 years direct experience in systems studies
Professional engineering registration or the ability to become registered.
Background in electrical system studies
Detailed knowledge of power utilization equipment and application considerations including the various types of switchgear, protective relays, breakers, transformers, motors, and generators is required.
Experience in protective relaying, grounding, or AC interference analysis is preferred.
Strong conceptualization ability, strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
Ability to explain complex technical issues to decision-makers and project teams.
Good oral and written communications skills in a customer focused project oriented environment.
