Job Description

Duties and responsibilities include:

• providing technical leadership
• creating and communicating a strategic plan for PI
• ensure that architecture and code developed for SAP deliverables meets standards
• create and enhance best practices and standards
• assess new technology
• work with BASIS administrator on PI technical administration, tuning and monitoring of PI systems
• responsible for standards, guidelines, and design of integration architectures and interfaces
• planning and execution of PI support stacks and enhancement packs
• cross train team members
• responsible for capacity management of the SAP PI design services
• create information models, design the physical implementation and interfaces
• recommend infrastructure changes to support the implementation of software, which may include installation, environment setup and control, capacity and performance planning and management as it relates to integration architectures
• analyze impact of technical changes
• provide functional and technical leadership in all phases of SAP application development projects
• develop and execute test plans
• create and maintain documentation

Recquirements include:


• Managing and implementing SAP PI integration with knowledge of middleware integration software such as EDI
• development of service-oriented architecture (SOA)
• Understanding and applying best practices to create and integration environment that is suitable for growth
• IDOC< BAPI, OOP, SAP Enhancements, Functional Exits, BADI’s, Enhancement Framework
• Leadership to govern the oversight of SAP technology layer
• Management of multiple priorities
• Management of projects, resource allocation and priorities
• PMP certification desired
• MUST HAVE AT LEAST FIVE YEARS EXPERIENCE WITH ABAP PI
• 7 YRS EXPERIENCE WITH SAP SYSTEMS, including ECC, CRM, SRM and BI
• Thorough understanding of SAP Netweaver architecture
