DescriptionMy client, an established manufacturing company headquartered in the Great Lakes region, seeks to add an experienced ABAP developer to its IT team. In this role you will be responsible for the development of business application using ABAP programming language and related SAP tools for a variety of applications, This would include converting business requirements into a design model and working closely with team members to ensure programming solutions meets the business need being addressed.
The preferred candidate will have a 4 year degree in a relevant field and several years experience in the following:
ABAP/ABAP Objects & ABAP Dictionary
BAPI/IDOC/RFC/Function Modules
User exits (SMOD, CMOD, BADI)
SAPscript and SAP Dialog programming
Business Intelligence; BI-ETL development & Data Modeling is a plus
Unix Shell Script, Java and/or.NET is a plus
Must have deep development experience, designing and coding new systens and subsystems with use of ABAP Objects, dialog programming, user exits, and perfiormacne tuning. Just maintenance programming and report development will NOT be sufficient. Ability to grow into roles of greater responsibility will also be important.
