DescriptionReporting to the Director of Software Development, the Business Systems Analyst will use analytical, technical and organizational skills and experience to facilitate the identification and implementation of business and systems solutions. The successful candidate will be the primary liaison between the business community, technology organization and external partners for all project requirements during the entire software development life cycle. Proactively conduct interviews with all project stakeholders to elicit functional requirements, modeling those requirements in an organized manner, then managing and communicating those requirements throughout the project life cycle. Upon establishment of the requirements baseline, he or she will address change management issues and assist in test planning.

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business owners, end users and Subject Matter Experts to gather and document business and functional requirements
Draft Use Cases and Software Requirements documents for new software functionality
Work closely with Product Management, Development and QA through all phases of the SDLC
Work with Development and QA to review Use Case documents and software module test plans.
Assist in integration testing of new software to ensure that it meets user expectations and functional needs.
Assist with project planning and management.

Requirements:
Bachelors Degree
5+ years of Business Analyst/Business Systems Analyst experience
Knowledge of business process analysis and/or re-engineering using various methodologies such as RUP and agile methodologies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to translate complex business needs into use case models
Experience in the editing and review of software user documentation.
Excellent interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills.
Goal oriented with proven history of meeting deadlines.
Project Management experience a plus
